Westall Schools Regeneration and Modernisation - Westall, VIC
The Victorian Government is investing in the future of Westall through the Westall Schools Regeneration and Modernisation Project, supporting upgrades to both Westall Primary School and Westall Secondary College. Works include a new PE and gymnasium facility with external courts, a new learning centre, and a hub link to the Kingston City Community Hub.
Project Design Brief
The project required several large roof catchments, to be used to recycle stormwater across both school sites. The design intent was to provide a secure and sustainable water supply for irrigation of natural playing fields, landscaped areas, and school gardens. To achieve this, a complete on-site stormwater retention system was required, offering high storage, structural stability, and full accessibility for inspection and maintenance, including CCTV and jetting, from a select number of access points.
